I was in the military for 5.5 years and during my time I picked up a few injuries and aggravated a dormant auto immune disease called Psoriatic Arthritis as well as A.S. I have always been wary of chiropractors due to my experiences in the past of them simply just looking at me, doing random things, and sending me on my way. Dr. Boyhan is not that kind of chiropractor. He helps you identify the root cause of the problem which for me was a severe imbalance in my pull muscles compared to my push muscles. Over the last few months he has worked with my trainer and myself to do exercise to correct imbalances that are causing my cervical pain and I have made significant progress in the few months I've been seeing him. Not only has he helped me physically but in a way he has been like a mentor to me; keeping me motivated when I'm having a bad week. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for evidence based chiropractic care.

At 19 the last thing you want to hear is “you’re gonna need a back surgery and many more in your life” After surgery with no improvement, many doctors telling me I was a lost cause without surgery, physical therapy not making a dent, and multiple procedures, a friend told me about their experience with Dr.Boyhan and I immediately booked an appointment. At 20 years old I could barely walk, much less go about my day to day life. After just two appointments I felt like a new person, I could take my dog on runs, I could sleep comfortably, and just live my life to the fullest extent. Months down the line, it’s rare that I’m in pain and it’s no where near where I was. Dr.Boyhan listens to what I’m saying, he doesn’t belittle me, and he makes sure we get to the root of the problem. I was skeptical of having chiropractic work done, however after years of massage and acupuncture for chronic pain, I found that throwing in chiropractic adjustments has resulted in longer lasting pain relief and the ability to be more flexible.  The range of motion in my neck has greatly improved after 5 treatment sessions.  Dr. Chris is data based - using real-time xrays info and then thermal scans to determine how to proceed with treatment.  I highly recommend him to anyone who feels limited in motion or experiencing pain.

When I began the healing journey with him, to address a traumatic mtn bike accident that happened 12 years prior, I was a shell of a person in constant pain and cognitively hazy. I had resigned myself that this persistent and chronic pain was my forever normal and that I wasn’t going to improve. Thankfully I was referred to Dr. Boyhan by a dear friend who experienced significant relief and healing with him. His immense knowledge of the body and his understanding and acknowledging both the physical and the emotional toll the accident had taken on me was profound. The moving X-rays (I had never heard about this type of imaging!) were an invaluable tool to see exactly where the issues originated, where my neck and back were injured, and an excellent visual tool to educate me about the trauma that I had sustained. His chiropractic abilities extend beyond the traditional practices and after the first adjustment with Dr. Boyhan, my entire being shifted and I felt immediate release and relief from years of suffering. I finally believed that my body could heal and that I wasn’t trapped by the agony I had been living with. With his devoted guidance, offerings of support, and continuous encouragement, I am able to live in a more grounded and physically capable body and the adjustments have given me a consistent release from pain. I never imagined I would feel ease from the discomfort I had endured for so many years. He was very thorough, professional and was genuinely concerned about my pain. The first appointment was terrible, the pain and all the xrays and I started coughing and couldn't seem to stop. Dr. Boyhan stopped took time let me get water and air before we proceeded. We had a couple visits and as of date I'm having no pain! Dr Boyhan successfully fixed my neck pain after all these years. Recently I suffered from a headache that lasted 9 days with pain in the back right side of my head.
